Since 2024, Vectorworks has only offered subscription instead of perpetual licenses in German-speaking countries.
Subscriptions can be purchased monthly or annually.

Vectorworks – Cost factor for carpenters and planners

We take a very critical view of this development. For our main target groups, i.e. carpenters, shop, trade fair and interior designers, the ElementsCAD module is the tool that delivers the decisive increase in productivity.

However, ElementsCAD requires Vectorworks as the engine.
Vectorworks , on the other hand, accounts for the majority of the total costs when program updates are included.

For this reason, we offer the possibility to install new ElementsCAD on older Vectorworks .

This also has the advantage that older Vectorworks have lower system requirements.

Full Version – Purchase Perpetual License – Customer Returns

Vectorworks Basic and Vectorworks Vectorworks are the popular versions for carpenters, shop, trade fair and interior designers.

Since we also accept licenses from customers in trade-in, we can also offer you so-called “customer return versions”.
These are versions of customers who, for various reasons (retirement, operational restructuring, etc.) licenses are no longer required.
